Do you like the jake symbol?

if your vette is built for tracking they fit the mold but if you have a nice c5,c6 street vette its like plastering a nascar number on the side and saying that's cool....jmo

Reminds me of Earnhardt fans putting "3" decals somewhere on their cars. They're fans and it is a personal tribute. Some go over the top; some are more subtle.
I'm not a bumper sticker or window sticker guy, but I am a fan of Corvette Racing and I might put a proper (C6) Jake decal somewhere on the hatch if I found a small, subtle one that caught my eye. The fact that I drive a C5 really is not an issue...

For all you people that are caught up on the whole..."well its a c6 logo"
Please get down off your pedestals because your sounding like ricers and they're whole type r BS.
Ive got something for you...say your a cowboys fan and as a fan you would like to put something on your car so everybody knows your a fan, but in doing so you decide you dont like stars and would rather have a square. Kinda defeating the purpose huh? Jake is a Corvette Racing logo not just a C6R logo, it was conceived in '04 when c5's were still in production.

Wow, this Jake thing is really creating a generation gap. The younger gen. seems to like it while some of the older CF members stop short of calling it some kind of satanic symbol. And there is the puritan set that think Jake is exclusively a C6R thing. Sorry to burst the bubble but Jake was conceived on a C5 as an unofficial mascot and it was not until the C6R till it was officially adopted by GM and carried over into the ZR1. I like the Jake and what it represents. It equally belongs on a C5 or C6 because of what it represents, h33l you can even put it on your tractor and it would mean same thing. This symbol represents an idea, a spirit of a team that refuses to give up. I don't see anything wrong with that and proudly display one on my car.

To me Jake is jake, as in everything is alright or fine. I don't use stickers or emblems on my cars but I am hanging a C5 flag in my shop and have pictures and posters of other vettes and cars and I would display a Jake as a fan of Corvette racing just not on the car it self. Jake is jake.

for what it's worth as stated, the JAKE thing was created originally with the C5 crossed flag emblem incorporated. it only became a C6 "thing" because it became a C6 generation
