I bought my 99' new. It was my first vette. I bought an 86' in 2004 as a daily driver and to lean how to work on the cars (it has made me a much better mechanic). I have no plans to sell either in the forseeable future.

My 2004 C5 verte is my first Vette after wanting one for many years. I bought it new and although I planned to drive it for a few years and move into a C6, I have received way too many compliments on it (and the MSG color) even from the C6 guys so I plan to keep it and eventually add a c6 Z06 (C7?) to the stable. That way I will have the choice of no top or a hard top.

My first C5 (a '99) was my 7th Vette. My '00 was the eighth and by the end of the week an '03 will be my ninth.
Others that I have had include '79, '79 (second one), '84, '89. '94, '95.

My 2001 is my first Corvette.
After 20 years and 250,000 miles of incident/accident free streetbiking, it was time to get off the Murdercycle, way, way too many people staring at cell phones texting and looking at tiny GPS screens and not the road.

My 97 that I just bought on June 1 of this year is my 1st Vette also. I too sort of decided to stay away from bikes and have a Vette. I had a bike about 8 - 9 years ago and sold it because of a few close calls, my kids were still in school and I thought after they got out I may get another bike, nahhh, I really like my Vette.

This is my first after many years of waiting. I lOVE THIS THING!!
It is also surprising very easy to work on. I just changed the front wheel bearings/both sides and took me an hour with only jacks. The water pump is also the easiest that I have ever changed.
