Default Opinions on Chuck CoW tuning(Corvettes of Westchester)

I read that Corvettes of Westchester (NY) is coming to Carlisle next weekend and I am considering having Chuck tune my 99 A4 coupe. I have been experiencing Column Lock problens, fuel shut problems, etc. and am having a CLB installed this Friday.

Has anyone had Chuck CoW tune their vette? If so, what are your recommendations? It's $399 for the tune and before I spend that kind of money I want to make sure it's going to be worth it.

Along with the tune I want to have the fuel shut off speed set very high so I never have to worry about the damn thing letting me sit like it has the past 5 times I've had problems with the GM so-called "fix."

I had him tune mine at his shop. They also installed a cooler 'stat. You might want this done too.
He did a great job...I am impressed with the results.
On an A4 it'll make a big difference, even more so if you have a better air intake system.

We had a Chuck CoW tuning event last year and you would be hard pressed to find anyone that participated who felt that Chuck didn't do a great job. Most of us were amazed at the difference it made including guys who were bone stock A4's.

My prediction...

You will not hear one negative thing about the tune....Chucks a bit of a perfectionist so the process can be a long one but you'll get your moneys worth!

Correction the only negatives you'll here will be from some other tuners....not customers

I live about ten minutes away and had Chuck put my 3.90 diff and and he threw me a tune. The difference is incredible! Not only that, Chuck is great to work with. I went back to soften up the shift points a little and he was very responsive and a professional. I think it is worth every penny.

I did a mail tune with Chuck. Everything written thus far is spot on. Great work and a great person to work with.

I'm waiting for him to come to Hawaii this fall as I want MORE!!!

Chuck tuned my car at the Forum Cruise-In this past April, I've spent quite a bit of money on mods for my car but I'll have to say his tune has been some of the BEST money spent so far! It woke my car up and it runs better than it ever has. I suggest you call him before you install the CLB, he may save you some $$$.

Chuck, are there any advantages to having an MN6 with Blackwing/Borla Catback tuned?

Don't let anyone near your Vette if it's not Chuck. His reputation goes way beyondnational for those of you who saw him on U-tube. Chuck CoW's tune basically gives you a new car, with a new thermostat.
Chuck is the best!!!

I have a CoW tune on my 2002 Z51 A4 and I have to tell you, It was like driving a whole new car, The car was so much more responcive, I have the 3.15 gears and before the tune I was looking to get 3.42 gears and now I don't need them, My car does things I didn't know was possible, I live at 4500 feet and it runs great, The first time I took it to San Francisco at sea level I was blown away to the point that I said I had to be careful with it now. It shifts quick, Fast off the line. My C5 is everything it shoud be and more...
Just do it.....

I'm lucky to live close by, my 02 has 61,000 on the clock and has never run better. Chuck has done several mods on the car including his tune. Chuck will treat your car better than you do.

+1 for Chuck - on my C5Z he does my tunes, installed my Vararam and headers and a bunch of other non-tune-related work. I highly recommend him. You may want to speak with him before you get your CLB installed - he can take care of that too.
