Though don't expect that to be the end of it! His next post on the forum may very well be something like, "Took my car to a shop, had them put on some parts, and now my rear tires are bald. It's their fault, they screwed me..."[/QUOTE]

Very helpful. The whole forum is better off because of you and this response.

with you there Rick.
We don't know what happened at the shop, or when Nicky was driving it, so we can't make claims, statements, blahblah.....
I will say this for certain: Moose and Joe you guys rock! Spending time helping friends getting there problems straight, getting their rides running, that's what it's about!
Yeah Moose, you're a good 'ol dude. There, I said it publicly. Hurt like a ****, but it's done.

Wow, here we go...

Was just being lighthearted/sarcastic. You're right, that wasn't contributable..

However, I love how your response was just the same..

Cheers, let's move on.

What size pushrods do you need? I may have a set of comp cromoly prs laying around. I know I have a set of cranes (7.25 as I recall), but they are probably too short.

As others have said, none of us were there except for the guys at ECS, and Nick. This sounds like a no brainer way to resolve this. It is a long drive to get the car back to ECS, and considering the whole situation, it might be better to tow it rather than risk any other damage until it is completely sorted out. That would suck, but I'd rather be cautious considering all that has happened, and it would preclude any other factor as to what the issue is that's causing the problem. New pushrods are in, the engine seems OK now, so don't put any stress on it, and give Doug a chance to go over the car, and make good on his offer.
If ECS is willing to make such an offer, it is really an expession of their desire to make things right.
I hope this all works out for everyone involved.

BTW, kudos to the forum members who took time to help Nick out. That is just awesome stuff, and a reflection on the type of people you find here.

thank you for that ignorant statement. i am not that type of person at all. I had ECS install my headers, exhaust, 4:10 gears, shocks, sway bars and lower it and was very happy.

i am just unhappy with my car after this install and i appreciate Doug's offer and response to it all, shows character and integrity.

Indeed, it was a foot-in-mouth comment, that I would like to retract. Uncalled for and distasteful.

I was just acting upon your signature:

But please forgive me, and let's move on.

I'm glad you and ECS were able to work out a deal.
