driver side air !!!!!!!!!!!! C5......
Has any one had the problem of the driver side air blowing hot while
the passenger side blows cold, on a C5-w/dual-air,.. I've heard it could be from the control head to the actuator door to low freon.??? looking for someone that has had this same problem and has had it corrected.
Would just like to find the most common problem C5 owners have found,
when they have had to deal with this same issue. just dont want to get taken if you know what i mean...$$$$
thanks scott

I have had this problem but what fixed mine is not the norm from what I have seen on here. I had disconnected the battery for minutes and that is when mine started this I had to leave the battery disconnected over night to fix it. At first I left it disconnected for about 2 hours and it did not work, over night work fine. It seems like most are fixed by the actuator door. Good luck

I had the EXACT same issue. Mine was low on freon. 90% of the time, (after doing TONS of research on this forum) it is low on freon. Have it topped off and try it. However, if that fixes it, it means there's a leak somewhere.

The 98 I had would do that when it was low on freon.

i went through the dic and found 3 codes on the hvac and reset them step by step from someone on this forum. perhaps someone can direct you there. mine was blowing hot out of both passenger vents and cold through the center and drivers door vent. it was very annoying but the actuators are electrical and need to be reset periodically. i have personally done mine twice. hope it helps...
