I guess the reason was that the car was a steal ($16,500). It was purchased for $22,000 and had about $10,000 worth of mods done to it. I new the guy that did all the work and it had been done within the last 3 months before I bought it. It was set up for a blower and drag racing.
Yeah, and I would have loved to swap my my RPM stage IV auto with Vigilante 2700 stall converter for a 6 speed.
Plus I have a two post lift to do the work on. Good luck with your new ride.

10.44 133mph so far. I made about 4 passes and have not been back to the 1/4 miles since.
