How important to you is the color of your C5?

Yeah, for me it was easier just to rule out colors. For me all blue(s), red (MR is ok), yellow, black (been there, done that) and green were out. The rest were all in play. I like all vettes in all colors but, personally, I don't like to drive brightly colored cars.

If you're buying a Vette because you like the way it looks (performance not being the only factor), then color will definitely be a part of that equation...

My first Vette was a red over saddle C4, exactly the color my friend wanted (although I did not know that when I got mine). He ended up buying a dark red over black C4 to try to get something different than mine. He never got over the feeling of settling for something he did not really want.
Go for your fav and enjoy!

Arctic White - couple of reasons.
#1 - rarest of all colors for 2004 - only 1,741 vetts in 2004 were Arctic white.
#2 - only color that says, Yeah, I got a Vette and I don't need to SCREAM it to everyone. It is the classiest of colors.
#3 - Coolest. During the hot summer, go put your hand on a blue or black Vette and then put your hand on a Arctic White Vette. 20+ degrees cooler. Cooler temps keep your Vette newer longer.

I went from silver to white and the color was important to me, about an 8 on a 1 -10 scale. Good luck on your search

When it comes right down to it, they don't make a Corvette (C5-C6 anyway) in a color I couldn't live with. Now the WIFE? she wants a '98 Medium Purple Pearl Metallic MN6 Vert. I'd much rather see her in a '03 Annie Edition or at least a '02-'04, but Ya'll know how women are.

"I voluntarily took 60 days off from OT"
It goes without saying there is only ONE color for me..BLACK!!!..Bought my first Vette, a black 99 Coupe in Jan 2001....When I was ready to add a convertible in November 2002 I wanted black, but they made me such a great deal on a leftover new 2002 silver one I couldnt pass it up.....More than 5 years later in Feb 2008 I had the opportunity to sell the silver Vert and buy a triple black 99 Vert for $10K less...I made the deal, and used the $10K to help get into a black leftover 2007 C6Z
My first born
The silver 02 Vert I had for over 5 years..
The triple black 99 I bought after I sold the 02 Vert in Feb 2008..
The leftover 2007 C6Z I bought in Feb 2008 as a result of the deal...

Thats a fact TR vetts are faster because the paint itself is lighter and it dosent take as many coats. Seriously though take your time and get the color you want Color is like a wife if it has to grow on you not good. The hunt is as much fun as the find Good luck Keep us posted

Yes, color is important to me.
When I sneak a peek at it in my garage or do the look back as I'm walking away from it in a parking lot, I don't want to be disappointed.
IMO hold out for the #1 color in your dream...

#4 - Reduces heat signature so when the police try to lock on to you, they will usually get the red vette instead!
#5 - Arctic white does not contribute to global warming, it is the most environmental friendly.
