Default ….New Lens = New Pics….

I just picked up a new lens so thought it was time to post a few pics.
Shot these with my new ‘Canon EF 300 IS 2.8’.
It isn’t exactly what this telephoto lens is mainly used for but I kind of liked the results it produced.....
I actually bought the lens for shooting wild life, birds, sporting events, etc.....
The darn thing weighs in at 6lbs. so it’s not something you would want to lug around all day for hand held shooting….
Also the extremely harsh bright sun, combined with not having a polarizer filter for the lens, made it quite a challenge to get a decent shot....
Here's a couple quickies:....

Nice shots Jim. I need to borrow that for my Friday night HS football games I take for the team. 300 in a 2.8 is awesome.

Great pics! Are the flames seen on the windshield actually on the dash and A pillar or are they on the glass or just reflections from somewhere else?

Hey Jim,

Great pics. Always love seeing your car, and these pics are VERY sharp.

I have not seen you post here in a while. Missed you pics and commentary. We were are LBL two weeks ago and thought about you and darla both.

Take care and I hope to see you soon.
