Any idea of what a used stock exhaust system is worth?
I was just wondering what I might expect to get for a stock cat back exhaust system with the pollished/chrome tips? I'm going to help my father sell his stock set -seeing that he doesn't want them laying round the house. They came off a 01 vert with 23k miles on the clock...
Any idea what they are work?

Not much. I have two sets in my barn that I can't give away.

I didn't think they would be worth much.... I guess I'll just keep them and if my father or I ever want to trade in/sell either of our cars we'll just put the stock exhaust back on and sell the aftermarket ones...

As you can see they aren't worth much if anything. My stock exhaust has been in the basement for 4 years.

I needed a stock set of mufflers and paid $150 for a like new OEM set.
I found a deal on z06 Ti exhaust and bought them.
Off came the stockers and I got $150 for them without really trying.
I'd say hang tight; there's always guys looking to quiet their cars down or deaf guys like me who can't go with the loud aftermarket.

Hate to break it to you, but the stock system is not worth much. You might get lucky and find someone who is selling their car and wants to return it to stock.
