Surprise Seat Covers
Well after a surprising email(and possibly some earlier miscommunication) I found out I have a set of custom seat covers coming. They are DJ Motorsport seat covers. They look great. Can't wait to get them in and install them.

I'm not exactly sure how it happened. I'm not mad. Excited (and a little nausiated that I accidently spent $700).
A few weeks ago,I had a bottle of Isopropyl Alcohol on my passenger seat and not thinking,I went in to work and forgot about it. It was pretty hot and humid and the bottle ended up splitting and dumping a large amount of the liquid in my passenger seat. I came back to a pool of liquid and pieces of "leather" (as well as an incredible odor).
After that I started contacting companies trying to get pricing on replacement custom seat covers. Might as well take advantage of the bad situation right? So DJ Motorsports was one of the companies I talked to. I told them what I wanted and we exchanged emails a couple times. Somehow(and I'm not exactly sure how) the order got placed(though I didn't realize it haha).
Today I get an email that says "Your seat covers are ready. Call me....". I'm sure you can imagine my reaction. I was kinda confused and excited at the same time. I open the attachments and sure enough those are the covers with the logos that I wanted.
So,that's that. Like I said I'm excited and I love them. I think they'll look great. Can't wait to get them in.

I am looking forward to you posting pictures of them installed. I have been talking to the same place and am waiting on Dave to call me back to answer a few questions. Your's look awsome, how is the craftmanship seeing them in person?

Haven't seen them in person yet. Just got the email today that they were ready. I have to get up with David to take care of payment/shipping.

They look to be really well made. Should be a nice compliment to your car. I will be one of those admirers looking forward to seeing the pics of the installed seats.

Silly Question?
Did you check if you are covered under comprehensive on your auto insurance coverage? If you have this coverage, and the deductible is reasonable, the replacement cost less the deductible on the passenger seat cover will offset some of the $700 cost of the custom covers. It's worth a try to save some out of pocket money! Also, you could get some cash for the driver's side.
