Default RPS stage 3 single disc clutch

Has anyone had the RPS stage 3 single disc (dual friction, organic/ceramic) clutch? Im trying to decide between the RPS (stage 3 or street twin), Tex, Exedy, probably not Monster or Act because they are still new. Im at 420 rwhp now and plan on adding up to 80 more soon, and I want a clutch that wont need to be replaced anytime soon! By the way, I want the clutch to be able to handle occasional drag racing.

I have RAM Powergrip HD and it holds the 533whp with alot of abuse but it is really heavy on the foot.

Default Clutches

I've got the Twin friction street clutch in my C5. It replaced a Tex OZ 700. Car has about 500rwhp/475rwt. with the current tune. I've only got about 3000mi. on it so far, it holds the power with no problem. I do get an occasional howling sound when I depress the clutch pedal, not a big deal though.

The first Tex. I had did not release properly and I had difficulty shifting. To their credit, they replaced the clutch with a new one and paid about half of the re-installation cost. That one was on the car for about 5000 miles, heads/cam set-up with about 470rwhp/436tq.

Both clutches are/were very easy to drive with only slightly stiffer pedal feel over stock. I don't even notice any difference now, I commute with my car.

I would look into the dual disc....they have a fairly inexpensive version now as well. All the RPS stuff is very high quality and balanced to a much tighter tolerance for a smooth driveline and no dreaded shifter rattle (which most people dont realize is simply an imbalance in their driveline being amplified by the shifter....eliminate that and you eliminate the shifter vibration as well).

Feel free to PM or call for additional details....
