What do i do, mail you the entire unit? I actually bought the bulds to fix the buttons, would you do those as well?

Glad you got it fixed - and yes, this forum has a lot of good info that can save you a lot of money.

no intention to hijack this thread but how much is it if you change out to LEDs and how long does it take to get it back?

Normally we offer a core swap program for our HVACs that is $195+ $9 shipping ($100 refunded when we receive yours back), but right now we are out of cores.

When you send us yours it's only $95+ $9 shipping.

The dim display is fixed with each LED upgrade so you won't have to worry about that in the future.

Typically we can get it modded in 1-2 days after we receive the unit depending on the orders we have at the time.

So do we do this at the website I assume? I will be removing mine later this month.

Sounds pretty good! My only issue with core replacements is that since I own a 2004 with very low miles, my core is usually one of the best OEM pieces so I try to use it if possible. I might check into your LED option when I get set to tear into my interior. I'm planning new leather, new NAV/DVD double din and sound deadening. I expect the car to be down at least one week so I might be able to squeeze it in.

Yes it's on there. Select "send yours in" in the options.

I did this about a year ago and it couldn't be simpler...

You just need to touch a few solder joints as described. I bought a small battery powered soldering gun from radio shack $20. Worked great.
