tomboy, did you use the adhesive kit to mount the seat hoops or did you go to the trouble of removing the fuel tanks and hard mounting the hoop?? if you used the hadhesive mounting, are you pleased with the stability and the results of the install? any tips or hints for someone wanting to do it themselves?
thanks

Steve.

I bought my hoops at WCC and used the adhesive kit that came with them. We chose not to drill holes for fear of hitting either gas tank on each side. The adhesive has held absolutely fantasic. No movement and you can pull, tug, lean on them and they will not budge. They have been installed for over 4 years. I had some install pictures a long time ago on here but long gone. I would need to find them and upload them again for you to see if interested.

Those chrome ones look great on your car.

The leather wrapped ones also look great.

Very tastefully done both of you.

To the OP, just curious are you looking for functional racing roll bars or the aftermarket cosmetic ones?

Check out matukasmotorsports.com for the best fitting hoops out there.
No glue and no worries about the tanks. Just engineered correctly.
