He was to return back to work Monday but that has been delayed a day or so.Very nice pics. Too bad I did not get to meet you and Darla when Steve and I were at the Bash the end of April. Met Tracy and Ernie and lot of other great folks. Had a good time. Maybe next time.

Steve is still without a computer and is going crazy. He has been rather busy too...his father passed away Wednesday the 13th.

Great shots, Jim, as always. I'm going to pull the trigger on a 5D as soon as I sell my 30D. That L series lens is bad-***, too.
We need to get together pretty soon and do a little photo shoot. I finished my car last week and took it to Evansville to see my parents and while I was there I took some really cool pics. The 5D would have come in handy. Sanding and polishing on the car as we speak and should be ready to roll on Sunday. Can't wait to get some more shots!

Irv called me this morning....after reading this thread, and we talked...
He was a Navy Korean War Veteran, and when I was little, he used to take me to all the local car shows...henceforth, the car show bug was born.

...yes, I used my B+W Circular Polarizer with these shots......really helps cut down on the glare....

seriously. though.. and who did that?.. i want a custom paint job on my torch red.. but i have no idea what'd look sweet ...
....It was all done here local in Paducah, KY......The base coat/body work by 'Jeff's Auto Body' & the airbrushing done by Mark Glover @ 'Atomic Airbrush'.....
