Default Driving in the rain...why does everyone avoid it? It's a blast with this car!

Had it out for some errands today and got caught in an April shower. I put it to the test for handling and braking....what a blast it was...you should try it some time!

You ought to try it in the snow. I drive mine year round, yes, even in snow. With the tranny in the rear, this car has pretty good traction, and the computer helps if you get to aggressive.

Mine's a daily driver and it does fine in the rain. I try to avoid snow when I have something more suitable for snow.

Because an hours play would cost me eight hours detailing to undo

I don't like driving in the rain because nobody is outside to stare at my awesome car when I drive by.

That used to be the case for me, until I swung for a 4 post lift, changed from Iforged to stock C6 5 spoke wheels, and ditched the BSMs. Now I can do it all in less than an hour,,,and it's way more enjoyable.

I got the lift, but I still have to pull the CCWs to wipe down the wheel wells. Since the CCWs have rejex they're easy enough but it simply takes time. I have to wash, dry, Z5, Z6 and Z8.

I usually avoid driving in the rain. But when you have to, the car handles it just fine. Just avoid deep water.

I drive mine in the rain. Detailing it isn't so bad. Mine ins't a show car or anything. A quick wash and wax and it is good enough for me. If I go to a show I'll spend some extra time on it. Once I get it repainted it will be a different story.

I'm like a few others I don't feel like cleaning it the next day. I have a 02 Malibu for the rain and snow.
