Awesome Love the finished interior. Can't wait to get mine from Dennis. Where did you install the blue tooth mic if installed? Where did you install the Nav antenna? Did you install any other peripherals? Ipod, XM ....

Question, Jason. Aside from the rear speaker improvement, do the subs in the doors still function the same, and is there a discernable improvement over the stock audio (which I actually like just fine) or "not so much"?

The 5120 looks like a great bargain at present. What can the 5140 do that it cannot for the extra $500??

the console is made by Doubledin Mods. Dennis goes by c5 bearsfan here on the forum. hopefully he sees this thread and will post a comment.

the letters & airbag oak decals are from cyberdyne graphis. read the sticky at the top of c5 gen before ordering anything from them, though.

i didn't hook up the bluetooth or xm or any peripherals yet.

i dont need the bluetooth and dont want to pay for sat radio. the only thing i might get later is HD radio and a backup camera.

the nav antenna i mounted right on top of the cage per Nouman's results and it works fine and is way out of sight.

the door speakers are still the same but i think the overall sound is louder and clearer.

i am not sure what the improvements of the -40 are over the -20 but the -20's price was so good that it was all i needed.

send me a PM if you'd like to know more about it.

Looks better than OEM. It should've come from the factory like that. But then again - it is GM - what would you expect. Like my Vette but there's a lot of room for improvement -unfortunately -GM left it to the owners to do it. And people wonder why the big 3 is going under.

Jason
this turned out really nice. I love the Light Oak bezel with the interior. Great job on the install and write up. Thanks again and let me know if there is anything more I can do.

Very clean install and a lot of people would mistake it for OEM.
