btw.... I know you were saying you heard they 48's burn out on some people. I haven't had any trouble with mine and should have the new wheels on this week so we shall see how it all holds up on the road...

Just wanted to give a shout out of thanks to Richard at Corvette Enhancements. Called him just yesterday morning to order a set of black depo corners for my quicksilver vert with the switchback LED's and flasher bypass harness and they showed up on my door early this afternoon.

I just installed TheRadioFlyer's Hella HID projector kit, and have a set of Xenon fogs on the way. The combination of all three is going to be totally wicked.

Whats everyone opinion on the side bulb. Its a 194 bulb. Would you go with a clear led towers or amber led towers. Somewhere I read that matching up bulb color to color of lense looks best but to me a clear bright bulb behind any lense would be brighter. ?????

JDMVETTE and TBRENT, where/how did you get those LED strips on the bottom of your corners? Those look great. I'm back on the forums after several months and seem to have missed out on some of these cool mods... And TBRENT, how do you prevent your fogs from firing up when you unlock with the fob?

If i want to add the switchbacks to the DRL's and i dont have LED taillamps, can i still put in a eqalizer flasher? Or do i have to install LED tails at the same time? Anybody know hwich flasher the c5 uses?

I have 48-LED Switchbacks and LED towers for the 194 side marker in my clears. Be careful when ordering the 194 side marker LED's as this bulb has very tight space constraints. The LED's I ordered were almost too thick/long and hit the housing a bit. Had to apply some force to get them to seal properly. I should have purchased smaller side marker LEDS...

The c5 flasher unit is incorporated into the emergency switch on the dash. Not a seperate servicable unit like most cars. I have the complete black cherry treatment front and rear so I'm not sure if you would need a hyperflash harness for just the fronts. My guess is yes..

I know this is an old thread, but has anyone ever lost the amber?
With no lights on, the DRL are not on, no amber, no turn signal..
With the lights on, they do illuminate white & with turn signal they do flash (white only)
Never heard of a switchback losing the amber..
Oh well..
