Corvettes , Jets , Aircraft and Crewmen
Seems that Corvettes and aircraft go together , as i see alot of posts by pilots , former pilots and crewmen. I myself being a former crewchief on a OV-1 Mowhawk , I'm wondering what that connection could be , Is it the sleek lines/looks , agility , cockpit seating or alot more ?

Yep, it is a C model. 1966. 180 horsepower.
It's a pretty special plane, because just about two months ago, it passed 300 hrs total time.
My grandfather has owned the plane since '77. I pulled it out of the barn last summer, had a pretty extensive annual done to get things up to speed, and then began flight lessons last September.
I soloed on Halloween and then finished up my ticket just a few weeks ago. I've logged about 65 hours so far, and I'm loving every minute of it.
My grandfather told me that the more I flew a Mooney, the more I'd like it... and he was absolutely right.
Do you have any pictures of your plane? I'd like to see it.

Blue Angels Crew and A Corvette
This pic was taken at the Blue Angels Show in April 2007 at Beaufort MCAS. It was later this day that Lt. CMDR Kevin Davis crashed in the #6 Blue Angel. It was his first performance. They are back again this May and we will be doing the car display again.
