Default Anyone interested in these lights for their C5?

German made projector beams (HELLA 60 mm) which open up 50 mm less than stock for a better projected beam.

How does $750-$800 shipped sound? Anyone want a set? More details to come....

EDIT on 13 Mar 09****

Out of the package pic:

My tester is working on specifics to make this kit as CF friendly and keeping the costs down as much as possible. He will be working on a few things to get it the way we want it. We have a few ideas in the works. Check back in this thread for updates.

Sounds good. I've got ACA's. How do theese compare (I know the ACA's aren't available right now), but I've got them and I was wondering how these compare.

I like the ones you were trying to get late last year better. Are the lenses on this product exposed or is there a clear cover over the lens housing?

How difficult is the install? Also what type of bulps does it use?

Are these DOT approved/compliant?

I have a set of ACA's I am waiting to install in my C5 in addition to the ones I installed in the wife's C5 and was wondering if I should try a set of these instead. Of course, I could always buy a set and compare them side-by-side to the ACA's since I already have a set installed. When are you looking to run the sale?

The install is going to be a little involved. It will use H7 bulbs for the low beams and H9 for highs.

The ones he didn't like. I am trying to work with the other guy too, but am not getting the replies I get from this supplier. A test set is in the works.

Yes the Hella 60mm modules are DOT compliant. If you want to try a set yourself now send me a PM. If you have questions send me a PM. I will get them answered. I hope to get this going within the next few weeks, but I can put out some "trial kits" for those that want one before everyone else. This is all at cost of course.

It might be hard to tell from the pics, but these lights are designed for your buckets to be 50 mm (1.9 inches) lower than stock. This helps project the beam better.

Is this the kit from Germany that was talked about a while back that has the limiters on how high the lights raise? If so, I'm in-I don't like the wind brake pop up lights we have stock. PM me when you have the test kits ready.
