Maybe someone can post a pole. I scrape my front spoiler everyday. First backing out of my garage, then the driveway, and again if I take a corner/turn hard. Man how low are these cars. My C3 was lower then my C2 but this C5 is the lowest of them all. I was thinking my shocks were shot and installing the ZO6 shocks because I read that they will lift the car an inch or two. Is that a fact is anyone else have a problem w/ground clearance.

If I drive to work the speed bump at the gate gets me every time. There's also a switch back section of road and I can ground the spolier if I'm over enthusiastic on the speed.
No lowering for me I'm afraid

Every time where the driveway meets the road I scrape. Worse yet, is that the neighborhood is riddled with square shaped speed humps. The city likes to call them; traffic calming devices, that I don't dare go over. Instead I go between them which is always good for a pronounced kidney bounce even at slow speeds.

The center air dam is spring loaded, to allow it to flex when it scrapes.
It does make a nasty sound when it happens!
I've gotten use to it, and just polish off the rough edges with sandpaper occasionally. Like Dave Sweatt said, they're cheap enough to replace.

I do! :
I have C6 Z06 shocks, 18/19 wheels and I scrape everyday --- or everytime I leave me driveway at least!

If you did not buy the car new, you may want to make sure the previous owner did not lower it - other than that there are things you can buy to protect the frame (frame savers are little steel wheels that can be mounted on the frame). Unless the car is wallowing over bumps, I would not think new shocks will help you.
