hey guys got a little problem...when i hit the brake only my 3rd brake light (small center one) works. the other 4 round ones arent lighting up. they round lights come on when i turn my lights on but still dont light up brighter when i hit the brake. anyone know whats wrong here??

When I had that problem last Spring it was due to a bad hazard switch. If you do a search I am sure you will find some DYI instructions on how to replace it. I have also seen HyperFlash controllers cause this to happen.

A lot of times if the hazzard switch is acting up you can press it several times and it may work long enough for you to see normal lights. I think others may have found poor grounds causing your symptom

Do the lights in the rear flash when you use the turn signals?
I had a similar problem (right side only brake lights were inoperative) and it turned out to be an open circuit in the turn signal switch.
The stoplight wiring is routed through the signal switch and is bypassed when a turn signal is activated.

yup my turn signal still flash but just no brake lights...thanks for the responeses guys

Try fuse #8 in the passenger footwell.

If it's not that check the switch on the brake pedal. Easyist to pull knee bolster and whisper panel.
