Now that my C5 is no longer my DD, my gas mileage has gone down!
I now only drive the Vette 2-3 days a week to work instead of all 5 and my average mileage on that commute (all city) went from 18.3 to 17. Wonder why that happened. I do get to work a lot faster though, haha.
Has anyone else had a similar "problem"?

Could your change in car have come coincidentally to a reformation of the gas in your area to a winter mix? Here in Colorado, we get less mileage out of the winter blend (more ethanol) than the summer blend. I know California has oxygenated fuels all year, but do they fiddle with the mix?
Just a thought.

I was happy to fill up the car even with gas at $4.50.
I'm just commenting about the fact that now that I don't drive it everyday, I have to make up for it by having more fun with it when I do drive it.
