I have an 02 Z06. I think it is fine. The red reflector in the driver door has a broken tab so it falls off on occasion. Couple nicks here and there, but it is a daily driver... anytime/anywhere.
I love it.

The only major problems I have had that wasn't from my own doing was the EBCM went out on me, and my windshield wipers are possessed by Lucifer himself. Sometimes they will engage and won't stop and have to replace the switch. Then I had to replace the motor. Now they only go half way up??? Other than that everything has been a ok.

2002 Z06, 65k+ miles(40k+ with big torque)
So far, the only failure I've had is the gas door, which I can now only open with the trunk cable.
I did have some gas gauge trouble, but Techron treatment seems to have helped.
Rear shocks have been replaced.
Typical front inner tire wear(toe).
That's about it.
Still stock engine with boost, again for over 40k miles

Mine's an '02 A4 vert. w/ 48,000 miles, no issues, runs like a dream. In fact, it is a dream! I just put it away for the winter.
Only problem I had was orig. battery failed in May, '05, replaced under warranty with another Delco, don't know when I need to start worrying about that. Hope I didn't jinx myself with this boast.

I got my 02 used in March and it is like a brand new car. Oh yeah, it only had 16k on it when I bought it. I have added some mods and a few thousand miles since then and all is well.

02 Z06 I purchased with 12k miles last November. This November it has 32k miles on it. The only problem I have run into so far is the drivers side window does not want to roll down right now. I have purchased the relays from Digikey to replace the bad one I think I have. Other than this, no problems, just regular oil and air filter changes.

Just bought my 02 mag red coupe last month with 9,000 miles on it. Had to fix the leaky driver's side rear end cover. Flawed design from the factory. Great car other than that...so far.

02 Z06 36K
Sway bar end links
starter
front spring
front left bearing
shocks for the trunk lid
HVAC controller
Driver seat tracks
leaking butt
left headlight motor
HUD due to being dim
All was done under the extended warranty, I think the original owner had problems with the trans at 500 miles not sure what was done.

Safety Car
Bought my 02 this past February with 21K on it. Put 4k on it this summer. Not a single issue. Everything has worked like new.
It does have rocking seats, but I think they mostly all do that. I'll fix them when I have the energy.

Had my '02 A4 for two years. 50K miles. Love it, but had my first transmission failure ever with any car this past summer. Lost reverse and ground up a gear in the process. Fortunate to have tranmission rebuilt under extended warranty. Now it has the dreaded leaky left side differential seal. I think that happens to most C5's sooner or later. Going in for repair tomorrow, again under extended warranty.
Besides the car itself, extended warranty was the best thing I bought.
