I like the sound of the b&b tri flows with the quad tips.
stingers don't sound as good to me so borla is out
ghl systems IMO sound good.
flowmaster sounds ok if u want traditional.
whats your op's?

It is hard to get a difinitive answer here on that subject. My advice to you is to go to a show and listen to cars and choose which one is right for you. Many systems have some nasty interior resonance/drone. Good luck

Exhaust systems preferences are very subjective - what sounds good to me might sound like crap to you and vice versa.
My suggestion is to go to a shop that sells C5 accessories or to a place where Corvettes gather, and listen to them yourself. Once you've heard one that sounds pretty good at idle - ask for a ride. The sound it makes outside the car, when the owner throws a couple of revs is totally meaningless. What you want to know is how it sounds running up through the gears, and what it sounds like cruising at highway speeds in top gear.
The system that sounds like a '60s muscle car at idle or revved might very well drone to the point that you will want to kill yourself or whomever sold the system. If you have a significant other that will be riding with you - you might consider getting an opinion from that person too. If you have a passenger that is irritated by the sound of the exhaust - they will make you miserable, almost as fast as if the exhaust irritated you.
Personally - I have Corsa Pace Car with long tube headers - they really bark at WOT, and can be pretty loud running through the gears, but at highway speeds in top gear - they are virtually silent and Corsa is famous for their no-drone technology. I guess I'm too old to listen to hours of tooth rattling drone.....kind of reminds me of nails on a chalk board.
Bottom line - make your own decision with what you like. Don't take someone else's word for it.

For me it's the GHL's. I don't have them but heard them on a buddies car and when the time comes I'm going the route. The best way to see and hear the different systems was at Carlisle. They had a tent with several systems on Vettes so you could compare them side by side. Talk about helpful!!

I agree that it subjective to ear of the driver.
I had GHLs quad bullets. LOVED them sound was great, but different.
Took them off and sold them. Guy who bought them Loves them too.
I run straight pipes now no mufflers. TOO loud for street use.

Well this is going to get a bunch of different answers but I can say I have tryed Borla (really raspy), Magnaflow (bad drone at 2000 rpm), and now I am on Corsa which I wouldn't trade for the world. I love the exotic sound it makes. I went with the Pro tour as it is the quiter and tamer of all the catbacks they offer. My reasoning so I can go crazier with the cam in the future without annoying myself. I haven't regretted my decision yet. My next choice would be B&B my buddy has them and they sound beautiful.

If you want the thing to sound like a racecar without touching the motor Billy Boat is the only way to go. Loud all the time, nice poping when downshifting. I love the way this system sounds.

I like the Corsa Pace Car system with X-Pipe.
