Question about C6Zo6 Shifter
When you purchase one what is it that you get? Just the shift shaft and 4 bolts or do you get the entire assembly with the base unit that bolts to the driveline support unit.

You get the entire unit assembly that bolts to the driveline. I love mine and I have had the stock unit and Kirban aftermarket shifter. The Kirban is also a good choice but takes more effort to shift. Overall the C6 shfter is a good compromise.

If you buy a C6/Z06 shifter from a vendor like Gene Culley of GMPARTSHOUSE, you get the works (ergonomic angled shifter, ****/fastener, plastic bushing, 4 mounting bolts, metal or plastic bushings and box beneath) as a complete new assembly.
But, if you buy from an individual, you may only get just the shifter, ****/fastener...

For this kit on our website, use part number c6z06shifter under Chevrolet make.
This shifter kit works on all C5’s. The C5 boot will either need to be modified or you’ll have to purchase an aftermarket boot for a C5 that fits a C6 shifter.
