Another cup holder option
For those of you that don't allow drinks in your car - move on
For the rest of us we are jinxed with only one cup holder and it is very shallow at best.
My first solution was making a double cup in a box for the passenger side of the tunnel but it is hard to reach for the driver.
But I had an inspiration one day and created a taller holder.
What I did was take a can cooler, a flexible cover with a rigid bottom, and carefully pull away the bottom. Insert your own joke here
You can place the cover in our sole cup holder and place a can of soda almost all the way down the cooler. The can comes out for a quick sip as long as you don't jamb the can too far down. The height of the cooler keeps the can or coffee drink from tipping over.

I need something, I've dumped two 44oz drinks in my passenger seat since I've had it. Luckly my girlfriend was setting in the seat one time and it didn't get on the seat.

Matt, I am sure your GF was thrilled to have a Big Gulp in her lap. Btw, is she one of the Hooter Girls in your Avatar?
AZ, with all due respect, I don't feel that your solution is as good as the Dual Travel Buddy. Yeah, it's $49.99 (I looked it up at Mid America Motorworks, Part #648-082), but it works great, is much deeper than the std. one, and looks factory. It is easily installed and removed, and gives you an extra one for the wife/GF.

My solution to the cupholder deal is this:
It's an auto ashtray. Simply take the top off, set it in the cupholder slot, screw it to the console, and VAULA! Holds everything from a can/bottle of soda, to a 24oz coffee. No matter how fast I go around turns, hit the brakes/throttle, etc.....everything stays put and in place.
I've never spilled a drop out of it.
Cost: $1.00 plus screws.

my solution was just to hand her the drink lol or hold the drink with one hand and do everything else with the other. Roll the car into the median grind gears or whatever just dont spill the beer haha
