Last page on AutoTrader.com when I was looking. Found it from the original owner, who was planning to have kids with his wife, bought a new sedan, and sold to me for less than he owed.
I now have a new wife and a 10.5 month old son, and I tell everybody, "This is HIS car, I'm just keeping it for him."

In 2001 I decided that I wanted a new 2002 vette and the dealers were offering 0% financing so I scanned the NJ dealers and decided I wanted the unusual combination of Electron blue with a torch red interior. I found one at Kerbeck Chevrolet in Atlantic City and bought it.

My family always liked Corvettes, but never owned one. I had gotten a serious bug to look for a Corvette (mostly C4s which were more in my price range) back in 2003. I spent almost a year researching and test-driving various C4s. Then, I saw a '99 FRC on the net that wasn't too far beyond what I could afford. It was 75 miles away at a used-car lot. When I got there, it wasn't what I would call in "good shape". I was disappointed, to say the least. But, there was a beautiful 2000 Coupe parked behind it that came out less in price than it would have been to fix the issues with the FRC. I really couldn't afford it... but it now sits in my driveway.

bought it from a guy who was the first and only owner, recently divorced with new "high maintenance" girl friend! she was "making" him sell it, presumable to spend the money on her!
guess i could have gotten it for a bit better price, but fell in love with Mag Red II......

Found it on a used car lot. Dealer only deals in high end cars, BMW, Mercedes, Infiniti, etc. Guy traded it in on a Merc. vert for the wife, so he could get a new C6Z.
37K on the clock, wheels and Borla already on. Stole it for 18.3K, 19.2K out the door, on the road.
