many take their car off the road for the winter.. hence the price drops when they only have fire and theft...

I am not sure I understand your ? , but, I have two boats, four cars including the vette, the house, etc. with the same company so I have replacement insurance on all! The vette is a little over 450 but is replacement for the car, not just the wheels

I have USAA and I can say what helps them keep their prices so low is the number of members they have.

A few years ago I went to American Family to get a quote for the 'Vette and they wanted $170 a month.

What I pay through USAA for a '99 S10 ZR-2,'00 Corvette,and
my S/O's '01 Prizm is $135 and change

Of course being 40 with a clear record helps to.

If you have any Military affliation or a dependent of one give them
call.I know over the past months they've relaxed some of the restrictions to become a member. The worst they can say is no.
Good Luck

I have Grundy collector car insurance on an 08 C6, 05 Honda S2000 and an 02 C5. 100K liab., zero deductable on the comp and collision and full price of the vehicle for as long as I own it. No depreciation at all. No mileage limits. However, I only do about 1.5K each year on them. You may also have the value increase 4 % each year for a few bucks per car more.

All three for 12 months is under $800.

They require a written agreement on how you will use the car. Type of building were stored and photos of everything. They also need a copy of you regular insurance and photo of your daily driver.

I am thinking of adding my four motorcycles and the Service truck to pull the enclosed trailer to haul them in.

Geez. Paying that little would be nice. I pay a little over 2 grand a year for my '04 Z and my '02 pathfinder. Being 23 with a couple of marks on the record doesnt exactly help

I pay $900 every 6 months for full coverage on my Z and my wifes ZX2. Thats also with renters insurance and a bit of life... Its not to bad. USAA takes care of us when things happen. My Z got backed into in July. It was fixed within 3 weeks. When the shop got the new fender it took 3 days of work to fix!! $1200 in damage I paid nothing!!

State Farm $400 a year, and store for the winter, so it will be less. But I'm older, and they don't care if my car is red!

The biggest thing to save money on insurance is the deductable.
I have Nationwide and pay $5??.00 but carry a $1000 deductable on collision and comprehensive.
You carry up to $2000 I think on financed cars depending on loan balance.
Can guarantee all info to be 100% correct

bingo

been with State Farm for 40+ years and this is the only major claim I've had. it was one year old, $952. forced off the road be a drunk driver, a tree stopped my foward progress.

insurance for the Vette runs a little less that $600 a year. both the wife and I have squeeky clean records
