nice find.. congrats- truly a thrilling ride.
btw I didn't know you could change the brake fluid the same way as the clutch- that is a lot of fluid to cycle through abs/prop valve/car length lines/calipers/etc... how many reservoirs did it take? BTW this does nothing for air.

The car is very nice in very good condition. Runs and drives excelent. And come on, 60 to 70 thousand miles on a 5 to 6 year old car is low miles. I actually got a retail gain for the low miles. Most people put at lest 12 to 15 a year. I guess it all depends on how they were taken care of. I was afraid of a lot of modds for that reason. I guess it's safe to say that most people with a Z try out the power every once in a while. I'm pretty sure they are built for it.
thanks.
thanks.

no, that was meant in jest.
everyone thinks their year/color/car is the best. couldn't resist jumping on that band wagon.
I do love my black car, probably because it's a sunny day only driver. I work so hard to keep it right, that if I was driving every day I'd go for my other favorite color - EB. It's almost as fast as black!

Congrats man, black and chrome go really well with the C5Z's. Very nice choice and glad you came to the darkside.
Although its not as fast as Electron Blue, but a good choice nevertheless.
Just Kidding btw.

I was trying to decide between a C5 Z06 or a C6. I went with the Z06 but could some day trade for the C6. I don't understand everyones hate for the BSM? I never noticed it untill comments were made. Because of so many comments made I'm now thinking about lowering it. I wonder if there's a place I can take it to and have it lowered?

Safety Car
First off congrats on the new Z, you'll love it. Best color too
Price: Personaly I think you got a great deal, and the car looks new.
Mileage: That is low mileage for a NORMAL car, but not low for a vette of that year (not that its that bad either). Mine is an 01 and has 39k miles as an example. And thats not to say vettes don't last as long or aren't as reliable as "normal" cars, its just that most people don't drive them as much for obvious reasons.
Lowering: Yeah definitely lower it. I had mine lowere on stock bolts at the Vette Doctors and only cost $40. It's nice how these cars are so easily lowered. No need for new spring, shocks,CC plates, etc etc. Just a matter of turning bolts This lowers about an inch all around which is a nice amount.
BSM's: Thats always been a mixed bag of opinions. I like them either way but prefer the look with the BSM's a little better and left mine on:

Thanks for the help. I think I'm going to check into getting it lowered but I'm leaving the BSM. Your car looks great! Them 20 and 30k mile cars were way out of my reach$$$. I think I could still get my money back pretty easy on this one if needed.
I do drive mine as a daily driver. I don't think it shows as I take really good care of my cars.
Thanks again.
