Got mine and put it in all of 5 seconds. Size is perfect and fit and finish is spot on.

Got mine about a month ago, ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!
The cup holder is deep and holds your drink super secure, so you don't have to hold on to the cup during "spirited" driving like you did with the stock cup holder. As long as you have a lid you will never spill a drop. Taco Bell large size cups fit great...LOL

Thinking bout getting one for my Mercedes Benz CLK and wondering bout fit. Do you know the height dimensions of the entire unit ie. from the base at the floor to the top that slides under the console? Thanks.

Back in '03, I made the mistake of putting a 'small' cup of coffee in the stock holder...WOW did that not work! It quickly proved the GM designed 'cup' holder was not good for much!
I immediately purchased a 'door-mounted' cup device. A week after installation, my wife proved it did not work as her drink splashed on her as she closed the door!
Then I learned of CCAs Travel Buddy and purchased one - 'IT' was perfect. THEN CCA came out with the Dual Travel Buddy - I quickly got that one and all is GREAT! I don't use it only for drinks, but it's a great holder for my two-way radio, sunglasses, cell phone...all that stuff you want to know exactly where it's at when you're driving....
SO - Kudos CCA - The Travel Buddy is an excellent design that should-a been purchased by GM for their entire production run! thanks for the great ideas...
