I live in The Villages, FL, probably the largest retirement community in the nation and I recently took the 85 year old husband of one of my wife's friends out for a run in my '01 Pewter coupe (VaraRam, NextStep, etc). We ran the back roads here in Central Florida so he could get a feel for the handling, did a couple burn-outs from a dead-stop and one or two runs up to about 110. You'd have thought he was 18 again. I honestly think he is still smiling from his ride. His wife said he won't stop talking about his ride. He used to race Mustangs and Chevy's in his younger days so basicly, "He's a Car Guy" at heart. I'm one of the younger residents but our Village Vettes club has over 300 members. The type of run Cosmo described would be ideal for our club and this community. I'm going to suggest it at our next meeting.

A lot of folks in all age brackets think that Vette owners are
pretty special. And just to ride in a vette is a special treat.
WE are indeed LUCKY.

Thats AWESOME..Guys
Reminds me of last summer, at a family reunion. My 80 year old (young) Annt, wanted to go for a ride in the Vette. When I ask her, do you want to go faster. Her reply was...GUN IT....So we went about 100 mph for just a few secounds. The family is still hearing the story from her today.
That will always be one of the Greatest Moments, I've had in my Vette.

Hats Off To You Guys and Gals, for doing that....
