They have 10 coats of automotive uv cleat coat on them. Scratches are handled just like the rest of the exterior and can be buffed out or if it is a deep scratch a little wet sand then buff should do it.

Randy - You should have contacted me and I would have sent another one. Try some acetone on that rubber that has too much clear coat. I tape that off now. Yours was one of the first that I did and may have gotten some clear coat where it does not belong. Let me know if the heat does not straighten it out.

Get me a pic with that MCM hood closed so I can see how the Gray CF matches the CF on your hood. I just went out and looked a my car and my stock one doesn't fit all that well either. I'll be doing a blue CF one for myself and I'll see how that one fits.
