On One hand, it is really cool. On the other, it does look very different. I get the impression that a black corvette ran into the back of your yellow car or you took the back off a black vette and put it on your car.
Maybe a black racing stripe down the center would better tie in the black to the rest of the car.
In any case, I like it.

I think you'll find the back end looking a lot dustier. You certainly won't mistake it for any other yellow Z06 cars.
Oh...and it's your car to do with as you please!

I have a yellow Z and i would not paint mine like this, but .. it don't look that bad.

I just returned from Road Atlanta 2 weeks ago and left the tape on the plate. Folks take a lot of pics of the cars in the paddock and I just wanted to keep my license plate out of the pics. In April this year at CMP my motor went and when I backed the car off the trailer it was damaged at the rear and I needed to paint and repair that. Since I was having it painted and wanted something different. It grows on you after a while. Thanks for the honest opinions.

Not bad, and I agree, it is your car so do what you like. Are your rims black too? That would help tie it together. How about that scoop that goes on the roof. Sorry I cannot recall what it was called, I am on some good meds.

I dont like at all, the most I would do is paint the lower part around the exhaust. But if you like it thats all that matters.

I totally dig it,
I had the same deal happen and I just painted the lower portion, and I regret not painting the entire back of the car black like you did.

Lee I say if it floats your boat go for it man, to each his own I think it's unique myself, some black rims would look great with that combo.

I was gonna paint my whole car yellow and leave the back black...Na...I don't think so...

Thats defiantly different...im on the fence whether Id do that or not on a yellow car.
