Finally installed my Vararam
I've had it stored in a cabinet just waiting for me to get to it. Straight forward install per Cajondude instructions. I was glad I have a lift. I think it was up and down a dozen times. Out on the road tomorrow for that 45 min. trip to "reprogram" the computer.
I also did a little painting experiment on the radiator support bridge. I didn't do much for prep work except to clean it. Primer, base coat, color coat and clear coat with 15 or so minutes in between really didn't turn out too bad. I think with some care and time it could look like factory paint.
I can't remember who I purchased the Vararam from but I do know I used a forum vendor.

Congrats on the mods. And the paint job looks very good.

Congrats. You will love it. To really benefit from your new intake, I would recommend getting the car re-tuned (unless you plan on adding more things later) to get full advantage out of the extra air you'll be getting.

I am planning on turning the clamps though I would like the crimping kind as they look a lot cleaner. It took me most of the day because I was doing some other things at the same time but 4 to 5 hours would be a good estimate. I did a lot of cleaning along the way. I haven't had a chance to drive it much since installation, too much to do around the house. It has rained every day for the last couple of weeks!
PS-My license plate mount EZPass is double sided taped to the front of the air cleaner out of sight and works perfectly.
