Jeesh man, quit worrying about YOUR car and get my side markers done wouldja?
Sure it's not the ignition switch itself Chris? I've read a lot about them being an issue.

If the engine is turning over but not starting, then you need to look at the fuel supply system. If its not turning over at all, is the security light flashing? If so, the pellet in the key needs to be cleaned or the ignition switch replaced. There are further things to check if the security light isn't flashing and the car still isn't turning over, there is a theft deterrent relay that needs to be examined and lots of other possibilities.

when the car sits and i go to start the car its delayed. either i will have to crank it longer or stop then crank it again and it will fire up. but if i drive the car and stop. let it sit for 5 min or so then drive again it doesnt hesitate to start most of the time. im going to try some fuel cleaner stuff and see if that helps.

1. Turn the key to acc and listen for the fuel pump to quit whinning, then start.
2. Run some fuel system cleaner thru her.
3. Make SURE your gas station is not selling 10% Ethanol!
4. Miles on plugs,,,a thousand other ??????'s.
Trying to help!

It does sound like either a low fuel pressure problem or as you surmised, a possible fuel filter issue which by the way are easy to replace. Have you pulled the codes yet to see what the car is reporting? Yes, could be plugs too... how many miles on the car?

[QUOTE=Ilovechevymusclecars;1566461458]No, Here in Nevada we been using it for years and have never had any issues, You will find that a lot of states use it already and more will follow.

Rest assured you have a fuel regulator failed. Your symptom description sounds identical to my fuel regulator problem in an earlier car of mine. New regulator? and all was fine. You could go through the proper pressure testing procedure, but without being there, I'd bet on the fuel regulator.
Post your findings for future searches.

I had the same problem. My ignition was the cause. The contact points were all messed up. With the advice of Bill Curlee. I fixed it to like new condition and the problem was gone. Something for you to consider. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...ion+switch+fix
