Took my Z06 over to a scale by the airport and weighed her in. She weighed in at 3100lbs. on the nose with no driver and a full tank of gas. Mods are LG Pro long tubes, catless X-pipe and Stinger catback. What kind of weights are you guys coming in with and what are your mods, or weight reductions?

A couple things to keep in mind when comparing weights:

1. Scales typically round to the nearest 20 pound increment. Obviously it depends on the accuracy of the scale used.
2. Fuel load is a huge differentiator. Since gas weighs roughly 6 pounds per gallon, you can see a variation of over 100 pounds simply based on current fuel load.

When I weighed my 2004 Z06 I obtained 3120 pounds with a full tank and did have a few miscellaneous aftermarket parts on board (Lloyds mats, exhaust plate, partition, etc.). The car was pretty much exactly where I expected it to be with a minimum of mods.

Carry on!

I think these are the lightest Corvettes since the early 1980's and the new ones are heavier. Z06 also has the highest hp&tq/ cu in of any vette naturally aspirated vette. Lopiest production cam ever!

I'm not sure about the C4's (1984+), but I had a '68 427 convertible that tipped the scales at the drag strip at around 3400 pounds (don't remember how much fuel). And that car didn't have power steering, air conditioning or even power brakes. The 350's were probably a bit lighter, but probably not 300 pounds lighter. I doubt they got lighter through the rest of the C3 run. Anyone know for sure?
