Default EnglandGreen Cam Package - everything including the Kitchen Sink!!!! *with new cams*

We have been getting a lot of requests for a complete camshaft package for the C6 & C5 Corvettes.

This is everything needed for a DIY cam swap. So we have put together a package for the DIY members that want to do their own labour.

This package includes everything down to Red Locktite. All you add is your own labour and tools.

Price is $1795 shipped to the lower 48 states.

Always remember, you WILL need a computer tune after a cam swap - so factor in some $$$ for that item.

Our cam package contains the following parts:
1 x EnglandGreen custom grind cam
1 x GM Front Cover Gasket
1 x GM Front Cover seal
2 x GM Waterpump seals
1 x GM Crank Bolt
1 x GM HD Timing Chain
1 x GM Oil pump pickup O-Ring
1 x High volume, high flow, high pressure oil pump
1 x 160 degree thermostat
16 x Brian Tooley dual valve springs with titanium retainers
16 x 7.400 inch Brian Tooley chromemoly hardened pushrods (C6 Z06 is 7.800)
1 x Powerbond 25% underdrive crank pulley
8 x NGK TR55 Spark Plugs
1 x New AC & Serpentine belts
1 x tube of Red Locktite

OK. We admit that there actually isn't a kitchen sink included - but everything else is!!!

Lots of vendors sell custom camshafts - so what's so special about the "EnglandGreen Signature Cams"???

These cams will not be your usual grandfather-type baby cams - they are all loud, obstreperous, will shake your Vette and make your neighbours hate you!! With the exception of our Ninja cam™, none of them are for the faint of heart. In all cases, they will need a custom tune and if automatic, you will need a stall converter.

They are all designed to be blower and turbo friendly, but will work perfectly in a naturally aspirated application as well. More importantly, we can tune them so that they drive very close to stock!!!

Here is just a tiny sampling of Corvette Forum members running our cams :

We have revamped our cam line to reflect the feedback we have received from our many customers. By far, our Whiplash cam™ and Whiplash II cam™ has been our most popular offering. However, many customers have been asking me a nasty cam that is bigger than our Chaos II cam™ but smaller than our Insanity cam™. We also realized that our midrange cams were showing their age and we have now redesigned our midrange cams to reflect what our customers have been asking for.

Originally, we used Comp's excellent XE-R lobes, but after working with Comp for more than 6 months, we have collectively decided on a new lobe profile; these are not catalog cams nor are they clones of anyone else's cams.

Here is our new cam lineup :

* EnglandGreen Havoc Cam™ : wreak havoc with our new creation cam in the high 220/low 230s duration range
* EnglandGreen Mayhem II Cam™ : formally our Mayhem Cam™, but now completely redesigned - and much larger! Duration is in the low 240s range.
* EnglandGreen Whiplash II Cam™ : Best Seller!! Duration in the mid 240s/mid 250s and extremely aggressive.
* EnglandGreen Chaos II Cam™ : formally our Chaos cam™, but completely redesigned and significantly bigger. Duration is in the mid 250s
* EnglandGreen Cyclone Cam™ : designed specifically for small-cube forced induction. Duration is in the mid 240s
* EnglandGreen Typhoon Cam™ : designed specifically for big-cube forced induction. Duration is in the mid 250s
* EnglandGreen Black Rage Cam™ : Our latest creation. For use only in big cubic inch motors. Duration is in the high 250s/low 260s duration
* EnglandGreen Insanity Cam™ : This cam is for the seriously mentally disturbed among us. Duration is in the low 270s

So give us a call of drop us an email if you want to order this cam package. We also install and tune these packages at our shop in Houston, Texas for just $3495. We accept all major credit cards and we offer in-house financing!

Thanks

Stephen,

Those things sound freakin' awesome. If mine wasn't already hooked up it would be in your garage.

Just in case, will you throw in a six pack of Mikes Hard Lemonade?

How big of a stall do you need for the whiplash, and how does it compare to say a G5x3/MS3?

I would suggest a 2800 stall for my Whiplash cam. My Whiplash is bigger than a G5X3 and just a tiny bit smaller than a G5X4.

Yearly? No.

High seat pressure valve springs (i.e. most aftermarket dual springs) should be refreshed every 25-30,000 miles, depending on how you drive.

I know of several C5s that are running the same springs for over 3 years and 50,000 miles, so that is not a hard and fast rule.

No, the "Bunny" is dead.

It was funny, but proved to be a Corvette Forum-only joke that all of my non-CF clients did not get (or think it was humorous), so it has been dropped and replaced with the larger "Havoc" cam.

All of my cams are now on the new Comp profile.

Stephen, what is the biggest cam I can run w/59cc heads, and not have to flycut or worry about P/V clearance (I currently have a 228/228)?
Also, which clutch did you recommend to me at CI? I know it was a Textralia, but I forget which one. You may have been slurring your words from the Mike's!!!

I have a 238/242 .609/.615 on a 111lsa and I added TSP heads milled to 58 cc's and had to flycut. MTI told me that my cam was about as large as you could go without flycutting on the stock heads. Hope that helps.

Textralia OZ700

With what you have described, I wouldn't go bigger than my Monster cam, which is in the high 230s

Tom, I'm sure that a Black Rage cam is in your near future

If anyone can pull that off, you can
