C5 Headlight fuse - is there one for each headlight?
Short version:
Driver side head motor worked (functioned up/down) but the gear was damaged and it made a horrible noise. Long story short, I got a new motor for the price of a new gear and began the swap.
The new motor didn't have the full harness, just the power wires (green/gray). I hooked it up and the headlight worked (up/down) without any problems (quietly thank God). So I began to splice the other three wires (brights, headlights...) I finished and now the lights turn on but the motor isn't functioning...it's like theres no power. I grabbed the old unit and plugged the power wires in...still no go! No power to the old one either. I hooked up the old one to the passenger side and it works...so! Is there a fuse for only the driver side motor? The Passenger headlight works, the driver doesn't. And I hate driving around with the light manually raised.
Please, please help. I'm lost.

I have an 04 and I believe there is 1 fuse per light and they are located in the fuse box under the hood on my car. Can't remember if that fuse controls the motor or the light itself or both. If you have the owners manual that came with the car look in the index for fuses and all the necessary info is in there. I'd post the info but am out of town.

Hey guys - it's the driver side headlight. I'll check the fuses under the hood. I had checked the internal fuses and there's only one down there for headlights...so I knew it wasn't that one. Hopefully it is just the fuse under the hood and my girlfriend will stop saying "It's winking at us".
