Default Roads, how are your in your state?

This is kinda of C-5 ish. I've noticed today that the roads here in PA are really in Pi%$ poor shape. If you own a corvette you get use to hard ride, but these roads stink anymore. Both the C-5 and our C-4 ride hard, but the C-4 rides much better than the C-5, IMHO. PennDot has gotten to the point where all they can do is run from one roadway breakdown or giveout to the next. We don't rebuild roads anymore just patch them. How are the roads where you live?

Where I live in Upstate NY you have to be real careful. Those damn potholes are real sneaky and there's lot of them! Cold patch only works for a while!!

I gotta say the potholes are a great case for the OEM runflats that many gripe about........I swear that sidewall has saved a bent wheel more than once.

The roads in VA aren't too bad if you can find one without construction. Don't even think about taking a vette into Wash, DC though.

Here in Central Texas we got some great roads to get out on, especially in the hill country for spirited driving

Man, you said a mouthful. I will swear the runflats have saved my front wheels a lot. It's not real cheap or easy to get a 50th. AE wheel repaired.

I live in Bucks County and the roads are in very bad shape. Now PennDot is just dumping hot blacktop in the potholes and not even rolling them. I hate to take the car out after the sun sets, you can't see the hole till it's too late.

ND roads are the worst. Constant road construction. It sucks. It is winter 90% of the time here (seems like it) and the other 10% of the time, they are working on the roads. Potholes all over. If it's not potholes, its cracks in the pavement, or uneven pavement caused by the repeated freezing and thawing of the ground underneath the roads. Can't wait to move out of this state!

Louisiana...depends where you go.....for the vast majority....rough.

Have to disagree about the C4 and C5. The C5 drives and feels a lot better than the C4...hands down.....IMO

Generally pretty good here in Texas. The roads in the ice/snow states tend to be much worse.

Here in Oregon, the Socialists who run the state have decided that although gas tax money is supposed to go towards highways, bridges, etc, they use the money for all their social programs and public transportation projects.

Now the City of Portland (thank G-d I don't live in it for as bad as the state is, Portland is rapidly becoming Berkley North), which has squandered all it's collected taxes on Utopian crap, now wants a new tax THAT THEY CLAIM IS to fix roads.

I think that is why so many politicians don't think suspending the gas tax is such a good idea, Me too! Way too often the money we pay to fix and rebuild roads and bridges gets hijacked along the public money trail. I was watching the news this morning and they said the society of Civil engineers say the top threat to our infrastructure is our roads !

The roads here in NC are pretty good. There are some rough secondary roads and some very high traffic areas in some towns can be sort of bumpy. I don't see a lot of really bad potholes and compared to what I have been on in some other states, the roads here are nice.

Roads here in NH are in rough shape after the winter - lots of potholes and like someone said earlier at nite very hard to see some of them
