You can get cams that make better tq. and the same rwhp IMO Check Vettelover84's sig and IMO his #s seem a little low for a F13 (230/232). I have watched a few F10s (228/228) turn higher #s nothing against his setup and every dyno reads a little different.

That's awesome power! So both of you guys just did cam only and no heads and made that power? How much power were you guys making before the cams?

If you are interested in stock-like drivability and want solid gains everywhere, look into a smaller custom cam.

This thread may interest you...

You don't need a massive cam that can't even hold an idle in traffic in order to product solid numbers.

Since your in College Station, I'd probably go with an LG cam (G5X3). Who will be tuning for you?

What other cams are good with stock LS6 heads?

Thoughts or ideas?

^^Go look up Cobra4B (Brian). He has a G5X2 cam in his Z06 with stock heads. He has sound clip and dyno numbers. He is around 430 rwhp and close to 400 rwtq, if I recall correctly. The key is to go to a great tuner.

They did a baseline run on the dyno before putting the cam in and with my catless headers, halltech intake and p/p tb the car did 370hp/358tq. The Cam and tune picked up 53hp and 31tq. I was happy. Williams Performance said If I throw on a FAST intake and LS2 Throttle body I should be sitting at 440rwhp and 400tq or more and they can get a little more out of the tune.

I'm running a TSP 224R cam with stock heads in a 2001 Z06.

With a good tune I put down 408rwhp and passed CO emissions.

Here is a quick video I put together that gives you an idea of what the 224R cam sounds like:

Bet I'm not the only one anxious to see the results of BC's build.

Whiplash or G5X3 ballpark size on a 112 lsa would be my suggestion considering all of the OP's desires.
