Default My sunday project (pics)

Spent most of the day painting my calipers and putting on drill slotted rotors heres a few pics



Think it came out pretty good

That's just what I did today! I only got the fronts done though. I think yours look nicer. Sorry I didn't get pictures of the whole car.

Thought about doing the corvette letters in black but just used a piece of emory cloth and sanded of the excess paint till they shined
by the way yous look great also

what did you guys use to clean the calipers with before painting?

Looking good on both cars. I need to redo mine this summer.

I used the Duplicolor caliper painting kit. It has a can of spray cleaner in it. I think it is just brake cleaner. I followed the directions as they are pretty easy. If this doesn't last, I will take the calipers off and have them powder coated. The previous owner had painted them but they looked gray and not very good.

I used paint thinner and break cleaner but still had problems with major fisheyes had to sand several times before i said good enough.

The brakes look great, I have my rotors sitting in my garage waiting to be installed.

Is it just me, or are the front tires bigger than the back?---->
