That HUD shift light aint even accurate but you can continue using it to "optimize" your high rpm shifts and let the guys that know whats going on use the aftermarket accurate lights mounted at side eye level.
Obviously you are joking about using the HUD light to shift by but we are laughing over here about it anyway..

It's cool but distracting at times. I guess you need to learn how to use it at high speeds as I don't want to look down at 140 on the track to check a gage.

How can you "optimize" your shift points when you cant even see the indicator light up in daylight hours with the glare on the window? You must be squinting and pushing your face close to the windshield even to catch a possible glimpse of it to flash to tell you when to shift...

I find myself looking for my HUD display in my other cars and they don't even have it
Certain polarized sunglasses (my Maui Jims are the worst) can also make it more difficult to see in bright daylight.
