Is your vette really a chick-magnet?
I'm interested to find out who on here was able to pick up a date JUST on the basis of the vette.
....I know, the second date shouldn't be about the car.

Well many times chicks think you are making up for something with the Vette... but then they see my 93 VW Fox with a checkerboard roof and no muffler and realize I must be packin if I have the ***** to drive that too!
. In my experience, having a nice car actually HURT my chances.

I'm a GM trained ASE Master tech. I own my own (small cool single
family home 1.4 acre) house, dually, enclosed trailer, 02 coupe w/
16k; 82 coupe ncrs Mcllean award car w 10k; awesome old school
6k drumset; 130db stereo; 2 beautiful children; live alone.
Im still a child and still live life like its my last day and one big party.
In the metro DC area they care about one thing.
Your annual salary, disposable income, house sq. ft. and 401k.
Im fit, have lots of hair and they can kiss my #*$......
20 to 120 and back to 0 as fast as you can...

Naw....the women I already know love the car, but no new ones because of the car.
What's gonna sound really twisted is the car mostly attracts 10 year old boys!!
Maybe I should "hunt" in my truck....and THEN introduce them to the Corvette!!...uh...the women, that is...

Yes and no.
Firstly, it's mostly a kid magnet. Kids love it. I constantly get the "wicked car maaan".
Now, with girls . . . the single ones on the sidewalk or on the road don't even give it a first glance, let alone a second.
The ones that do look, and stare, and make eye contact, and smile, etc, are the ones with their boyfriends, on the sidewalk, but especially those getting passed by me on the road.

I wouldnt call it a date but some want to drive it. I would too if I didnt have it. I have offered too let them drive it.

was at a christmas party last year and this guys wife asked me what i drove and i told her and right in front of my girlfriend and her husband she said "if she were single she would totally do me in my car" lets say i was shocked and had a hard time kepping a poker face.

It seems that I never have the vette out when the chicks are out...and the Tahoe just doesn't have the same eye-grabbing effect.

I'm a younger guy too, and so far the only people that have show interest is married men who aren't getting any anymore and little kids. If I was a gay Michael Jackson I'd be set.
