Default New Hood! Opinions please...

I wanted to change the hood on the vette, and since I didnt like any that are made I made my own. I had a 69 stingray scoop fiberglassed in and painted to match.

I like what you have done, nothing wrong with an old school high rise hood

I cant see it that well because the picture is so big, but it looks good from what I can see! Any details on the process or costs of this? Did you do it yourself?

Work was done by Jeff Oden in Fargo,ND. He does amazing work with minimal downtime. I think my hood was off for only a week or 2. If anyone is interested in hiring him I can provide contact info.

Sorry - not a fan of aftermarket hoods or body modifications. I'm partial to the lines as they came from Bowling Green.

Looks like nice quality fiberglass and paint work, though.

Thanks man, and I do agree with you the cars look great as they came, I just needed to do something to set myself apart.

Nice work ,just not my style of aftermarket hoods.

You get 2 for a DIY project, nothing more
gratifying than doing it yourself,IMO

It raised the look of the hood yet you kept with Corvette retro style. It has to be intimidating to cars next to you.

Cool..
