Don't know the GM part number, but Mid America has them for $30

I ordered one from the local chevy dealer, about $30. Mounted it on the bottom left rear, between the two left taillights but down low like on the new ZR1. People kept telling me they couldn't tell it was a Z06 from the rear. I fixed that.

IMO, GM should've used that emblem on all Z06s since '405hp' isn't even correct in stock form (not to mention the tackiness of advertising a #.)

Personally, I don't want to see any exact number since many of us mod our cars frequently.

...but I'd be interested in a custom badge that looks 100% OEM but with an 'updated' HP number.

That is the wrong part # for an 01 Z06. The 01 doesnt display the HP.

Default Gm 10429629

Correct , the '01 Z has no hp designation. GM 10429629 is the part number.

Ryan L; I suppose I agree , but if you have heavy hp mods a 405 badge will throw the competition off. Now I actually replaced my '01 Z06 fender badges with the '02-'04 405 hp badges/ emblems when I completed the update mods to my ZO6. I don't think it is basphemy, but God forgive me ,I couldn't help it. Honest LOL

Where did I see recently , someone here on the forum showing off their custom repo style fender badges? Obviously they were billet, and nicely done. Wonder what the cost was?

I like my 50th anniv. exhaust plate, so I thought this was a good solution.
