Don't Touch My Car
Sometimes I think I'm losing my mind.My Z is flawless it is not a daily driver it has never seen bad weather as a matter a fact the wipers never been on I don't even know if they work.Point is I take this car out on Sunday and I go to a store park it a mile away and I can't freakin relax the thought of someone breathing next to it pisses me off my wife says I'm a wack job sometimes I don't think it is worth owning it.I can't be the only one.A good example is my twin nephews who I got into vettes wanted to get in it they started touching my paint and other stuff and my sister looks at me and laughs she sees how stressed I get. Please tellme I'm not alone

I do the same thing. Park on the far end of the lot and walk ten miles.
But it never fails...come out of the store and there's a rusted 1979 Ford pickup with "Billy Joe Jim Bob's Lawn Service" scrawled on the side...and he's parked six inches from your car with 100 empty spaces around.

I know exactly what you mean. I bet after you park as far away as you can you still look back as you walk away and hope some idiot does'nt get you while you're gone. One door ding ruins everything! My wife also thinks I'm nuts.

Melting Slicks
I am the same way, for the most part. I try and avoid wreckless decisions like parking in the middle of two enourmous SUV's or minivans that are undoubtedly carrying a horde of children. Bad situation. Besides obvious common sense stuff like that, I've actually grown quite lenient on my car.
I blame it on the paint job on the car when I bought it. I have tried damn near everything in my power to eliminate the swirls, but I have mostly given up hope. I have recently begun not caring much at all...

You are not alone!! My wife loves to bitch about how I park out in BFE. Oh well, I make her walk the extra 100 feet anyway!
This is how I parked my GXP, imagine how I park my Vette!

I'm the same way. I'm scared to drive it anymore. People in Memphis DONT know how to drive.
I've lived in Memphis now for a year, Ive been rearended in my truck 3 times.

This sickness doesn't apply just to men. Women are sometimes afflicted with the same illness. I ALWAYS park in BFE and ALWAYS move carts within a 5 mile radius. Once, my husband and I each moved like 8 carts away from our car back to the store. I'm sure people thought we were crazy, but were not taking any chances!!!!
