Default Ace Slick Hyperblack Wheels Picture Thread

I've always thought that for the money the Ace Slick Hyperblacks were the best aftermarket wheel for the C5. I'm going to get these as soon as I have the funds.

Those are awesome!

I am not even going to ask, because I know they must be way over my budget!

Im so glad you posted this thread. Ive been thinking about getting a set of wheels. I have three sets in mind. Ace slicks, Ruff 281 black, and finally the cray mantas in black. The slicks are looking really good right about now.

You are wrong these rims are very affordable between $800-$1000 I believe and of course tires are more a good mod to do when you need rubber. You can go from stock sizes to 19"s for the rear

They are a very nice looking set of wheels. They would be ones I consider should I get another set.

Why are they called Hyperblack when they are clearly silver/chrome/polished?

Kind of silly...

But they look fantastic either way.

The face of the wheels are silver. On the sides they fade to black which gives them the hyperblack name. At least that is my explanation.

I actually like these better than the other C6 Z06 style aftermarket wheels made for the C5. These have more of a star pattern and are more "sculpted" and angular for lack of a better description.

My only frustration is that Goodyear doesn't make a GS-D3 tire for this wheel.

You can see how based on the lighting, the wheels appear to be shaded Black, when they are clearly not.

Are there any quality differences between the Ace wheels and the C6Z06's from factory repro?
