I Did it!!! Finally bought my '03 Z!!! I'm part of the herd!
Hi guys!
Yesterday I bought my first Corvette! I've been gearing up for the sale all week, and have been looking for six months for the right one.
I have... a 2003 Z06, black on black, with only 22,000 miles and it's just amazing! The only problem is that my "delivery" experience was/is awful. First, the day of the sale was a day with heavy rains and flash floods all over Los Angeles. Since I flew from Alaska to do this, postponing things was not an option. I had to drive my "new" Z home in pouring rain...
Then the following day (today) it rained more; and is forecast to rain until I leave back to Alaska. On top of that, I am now fighting a cold and can't enjoy my car like I had hoped. But the important thing is, I got my car... I love love LOVE it to death, and there will be time to drive it quite regularly down the road.
Here's me and my car... taken before the sale actually, on the only clear day during my visit.

Congrats! You have a Z06 and that means you will stand apart from the herd!
What part of LA did you get it from? To bad about the weather because there are some great Vette roads over there.
