Default Preference/Poll 2001 Automatic or Stick?

I am looking at a 2001 Convertible it is pretty loaded. What is more preferable to most people manual or automatic shift? Thanks

You need to say how you would use the car

City or rural, Track or DD. It makes a difference.

For pure driving fun you cant beat an MN6. For convenience maybe an A4

I have an A4, but I love manual trannys. The A4 isn't bad at all though, but if I could buy my vette again, it would have the manual tranny.

C5 clutches are no more a maintenance issue than any other car.

Gor for the manual. It is more engaging

That is a very personal decison. As for my choice:

6 speed manual. No regrets at all.

Got THAT right. Also, I had to get the Auto if I had any hopes of the wife driving it.

For me, all sports cars should be manual to get the most driving enjoyment out of it! I looked for a 6 speed car...
