Corsa's installed. Very Disappointed!

A stout heads, cam and header package will make them sound decent.
Otherwise, yeah, they are pretty much the worst sounding system there is for a stock C5.

Here are a few clips of my 03 Coupe. The first clip is a before and after. My first mod was the addition of Borla Stingers and a Bassani X-pipe to an otherwise stock C5. Although it was definitely louder it still wasn't everything I was looking for sound-wise.
I then went with the LS1 performance upgrade performed by forum vendor DynoTech Engineering (DTE) which included a custom cam, underdrive pulley, modified oil pump, etc. and I also added the full Dynatech Supermaxx LT Header system (which includes its own X-pipe). NOTE: Check out the improvied oil pressure during the in-car portion of the first clip! The other clips were recorded at O'Reilly Raceway Park in Indianapolis and Kentucky Motor Speedway.
Bottom Line: The car is LOUD now, but I love it (I'm 47 years old BTW)

When my car just had LTs and the factory H-pipe they would make some good noise when I got on it. I put an X-pipe in and it smoothed the sound, but I noticed it made the system noticeably quieter. So if you want more sound, use an H-pipe or even use no cross over, I'm sure that will bump up the sound level.
Later I put in a cam, new heads, and had my supercharger refreshed, and it bumped up the sound level a lot. So I imagine my car would be deafening if I put an H-pipe back in.
He's some clips of my car with cam, heads, headers, xpipe and Corsa Pace Car.
I bought my pace cars used for like $500, so I can't complain about price. Hopefully you find a solution that makes you happy.
Cold Start:
Revving - completely warmed up.

Contact Corsa maybe they can do something for you. Tell them your not pleased. I purchased a C5 with B&B PRT's there were to loud for me. I swapped them for B&B Route 66's. They’re a little to quit for me. But the drone noise is gone and I got a fantastic deal on them I couldn't pass up. They had 50 miles on them. Sold the PRT's on ebay and made $150. I also had a C5 with Corsa Pace car and I liked them better than the PRT's. In many threads "try before you buy" are the key words. The next step up may be too noisy for you. It's not running through the gears that is noisy it's the drone when the engine is going up hill. That's where you will know if you like a system or not. Get in contact with a local Corvette Club. Lots of people have different systems to listen too.

Before I bought my 02 Z, I had a 96 LT1 Vette. I wanted a little more rumble so I got some Magnaflows for it. The car was an auto, and the drone was unberable! I'd get a headache if I drove it for an extended period of time. So when I researched for a cat back for the Z, I made sure it was gonna be a system that had the least drone and nice rumble. So I chose the Corsa Pace Car set up with Tigershark tips and a WCC Tru-X Pipe. It sounded good, almost unnoticable and low RPM cruising, but wicked at WOT. But going back and forth from my 67 Camaro 350 w/ Hooker LT's & 2 Chamber Flows to the Z, the Z seemed to miss that noticable V8 sound. So I got rid of the WCC X Pipe, and got some American Racing LT's w/ catted X pipe. It's louder than before all around, but you can still cruise low RPM's without raising hell, and when you hit the gas it'll wake up the beast with in. And still NO DRONE! I love my set up, it's not the craziest sounding vette around but it works for me.

Any differences I should know about the LG vs. AR Longtubes?

Here's a thread that discuss's LG vs AR LT's.

Also to add another reason why I chose the Corsa w/ Tigershark Tips, was because I might go with a TS Rear Bumper in the future. So with the TS tips no further modificaton would be needed to fit the bumper around the tips. That's why they're mounted more towards the center.

I can't view a lot of the folks photobucket stuff that's posted on here.... I checked this one, and it said the account is private, when I tried searching for the username. I couldn't view the video from the link.
I sure would like to view some of these videos you guys are posting, but so far, only about 50% seem to work for me.

Had the Borla quads and they sounded great....outside the car....inside the drone was unbearable. Considered GHL's and Magnaflows but after the Borla experience, I decided for me that I wanted no drone, not some, not a little, but none at all. And the only system I found that had zero interior drone was the Corsa.
